On the south coast of the island, Paraga is one of Mykonos’ most well-known beaches. There are two sandy beaches here, with the southern one being quieter and the northern one being fully organized, and it’s only 6 km from Mykonos town. Every year from April to October, Paraga Beach draws tens of thousands of visitors. Paraga beach is preferred by a sizable portion of travelers to Mykonos. Accessible by automobile, taxi, or sea boat with multiple local boats leaving from Platis Gialos beach each day.
Sun loungers, several beach bars, and pubs are all present on the northern side. Mykonos Camping is located at Paraga Beach in a superb location with a beautiful outlook.
Paraga is a favorite with nudists, who favor the right section of the beach. Staying at Paraga Beach until sunset will allow you to take in the breathtaking vista of the sun sinking behind Delos Island in the background of the horizon.
